Howard Hook, a certified financial planner (CFP®) and certified public accountant (CPA), has once again been included in Medical Economics annual special supplement of ‘Financial Advisors for Doctors.’ 2018 marks his 8th consecutive year of being included in this prestigious listing.
Inclusion on this list is based on professional criteria such as financial planning and investment advisory knowledge, experience providing these services to doctors and other affluent clients, minimum size of portfolio, type of fee arrangements, and continued good standing.
Hook is a partner with Access Wealth Planning, LLC, as well as its affiliate, EKS Associates. He frequently writes about and is interviewed by the media on issues involving financial planning, portfolio management, and retirement planning. He has recently appeared in such publications as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Huffington Post, New York Post, The Star Ledger, The Princeton Packet, and Fortune magazine, as well as appearing on FoxBusiness.com, TheStreet.com, WABC radio, News 12 New Jersey, and the Wayne Patch “Local Voices” blog. In addition, he is a regular contributor to The New York Daily News "Daily Views" online column, as well as to NJMoneyHelp.com; and is frequently interviewed on local financial news programs. An educator at heart, he teaches a variety of financial courses at the Princeton Adult School, has presented multiple times at the Star-Ledger’s Annual Road to Personal Wealth Financial Conference, and has been an instructor for CFP® candidates studying for the CFP® exam in the course area of taxation.
